Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZeroKVault, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

ZeroKVault is a zero-knowledge encrypted digital legacy vault. You store sensitive information encrypted with keys that only you control. The service includes a Heartbeat inactivity switch (also known as Dead Man’s Switch) to deliver your vault to designated beneficiaries after confirmed inactivity.

Permitted Use

ZeroKVault is for personal use only. You may not use the service for commercial purposes, bulk operations, or content delivery at scale.

You agree not to store prohibited, illegal, or harmful content. You agree not to use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages to beneficiaries.

Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for safekeeping your seed phrase. ZeroKVault cannot recover your data if you lose your seed phrase. We strongly recommend creating a physical backup.

You are responsible for keeping your beneficiary information up to date and ensuring delivery instructions are accurate.

Account Termination

ZeroKVault may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. ZeroKVault is not liable for data loss resulting from lost seed phrases, interrupted delivery, or circumstances beyond our control.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San José, Costa Rica.
